RJ and The Imperatives

RJ Shapiro has been performing in bands in the Boston area for 30+ years.  Most of the musicians in The Imperatives have been playing with him, both in cover bands of various kinds, and bands that play original music.

For the last 20 years, this talented group of musicians has been crucial to realizing the vision of RJ’s music.

In addition to the current players (and many, many others), all albums are engineered by Huck Bennert (and Matt Hayes). RJ produced all the recordings.  All horn arrangements are by RJ and Mark Paquin.
